SEMICON China 2026: Technical Preview of Our Exhibition Lineup
What We’re Bringing to SEMICON China 2026: A Technical Preview
With SEMICON China 2026 just days away (March 25-27, Shanghai SNIEC), we’re giving you an inside look at the key technologies we’ll be demonstrating at our booth. Whether you’re designing ATE systems, EV battery management, or medical instrumentation, here’s why our booth deserves a stop on your exhibition floor plan.
1. Mercury-Wetted Relays: The ATE Engineer’s Best Friend
For semiconductor test engineers, contact bounce is the enemy. Our HGFR Series mercury-wetted reed relays eliminate bounce entirely — delivering zero contact bounce from the very first operation.
Key specs we’ll be demonstrating:
- Switching: Up to 4A, 200VDC
- Bounce time: <0.5 ns (essentially zero)
- Initial contact resistance: <50 mΩ
- Dielectric strength: Up to 4kV between open contacts
- Life expectancy: 500 million+ operations
Why it matters for ATE: In wafer-level testing and ICT (In-Circuit Test), a single contact bounce event can produce a false fail, wasting yield. The mercury film on the reed contacts creates a liquid-metal bridge that self-heals with every operation — there’s no mechanical wear point. This is why leading ATE OEMs have relied on mercury-wetted technology for decades.
At our booth, we’ll have live switching demonstrations showing the difference between standard dry reed relays (with visible bounce on an oscilloscope) and our mercury-wetted units (clean square-wave transitions).
2. High-Voltage Reed Relays: Up to 20kV Isolation
Our HVR Series pushes reed relay technology to its limits — we’re talking up to 20kV dielectric withstand in a package smaller than your thumb.
Exhibition highlights:
- HVR-1C20: 20kV isolation, tungsten-rhenium contacts for high-voltage hold-off
- HVFR Series: Compact 4-10kV relays for space-constrained designs
- HRM Modules: Multi-channel (up to 20ch) HV switching modules with built-in driver circuits
Application spotlight — Medical Defibrillators: In AED (Automated External Defibrillator) circuits, the relay must switch capacitor banks delivering 2-5kV pulses into a patient load. The contact gap must sustain the full voltage without arking. Our HVR relays use hermetically sealed glass envelopes with tungsten contacts specifically engineered for this high-voltage hold-off requirement.
Application spotlight — Cable Testing: Hipot testing of EV high-voltage harnesses (800V+ platforms) requires relay matrices that can route test voltages safely. Our HRM modules provide the multi-channel switching needed for automated cable test systems.
3. HV DC Contactors: Powering the EV Revolution
The shift to 800V and 1000V battery architectures is accelerating, and our EVM Series ceramic DC contactors are designed for exactly this transition.
What we’ll showcase:
- EVM-400A: 400A continuous, 1500VDC rated — the workhorse for large battery packs
- ESM Series: 1500V ceramic contactors optimized for solar inverters and charging infrastructure
- EVI Series: Epoxy-sealed contactors (30-300A, 450-1500V) for cost-sensitive applications
Technical differentiator — Ceramic vs. Epoxy: Our EVM Series uses a ceramic arc chamber that provides superior thermal stability and arc extinction compared to epoxy-sealed alternatives. In applications where the contactor must interrupt fault currents (short-circuit protection), the ceramic chamber’s ability to withstand arc temperatures exceeding 3000°C gives it a significant reliability advantage.
Live demo: We’ll have our contactor test bench running real switching cycles at 400A, showing the arc extinction behavior through our transparent test enclosure.
4. Sensors: Liquid Level & Magnetic Proximity
Our reed sensor technology extends beyond relays into position sensing and liquid level detection.
- MRS Series: Molded and PCB-mount magnetic proximity sensors for door/window detection, position limit switches, and industrial automation
- MLS Series: Stainless Steel 316 liquid level sensors for fuel tanks, chemical containers, and hydraulic reservoirs
